We don’t guess what works online. We study it. Saltstar creates viral explainer videos by researching audience conversations, partnering with social-native creators, and crafting scripts that hit fast, hard, and clean.

Check out one of our recent collaborations with comedian Karan Menon:

The Secret Behind Saltstar’s 5-Million-View Explainers

1. We start with the internet, not a blank page
We research how people are already talking about the issue. We scan TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, Reddit. We study what is getting shared, what is getting ignored, and where the confusion lives. That gives us the emotional temperature and the language of the audience.

2. We write like humans, not institutions
From there, we build scripts around a single sharp idea. Clean structure, fast pacing, and a clear “why this matters right now.” We use humor, tension, and surprise to keep people watching, and we cut every extra sentence that slows it down.

3. We collaborate with social media natives
When it makes sense, we bring in influencers, creators, and hosts who already know how to talk to their audiences. We write with them, not for them, so the piece feels like their voice, not a press release in disguise. That is a big part of why these videos get shared.

4. We design for the scroll
Every frame is built for mobile first. Bold typography, clear visual metaphors, clean motion graphics, and fast, watchable pacing. The story has to make sense on mute, in 3 seconds, on a tiny screen.

5. We optimize, then release
We experiment with hooks, titles, and thumbnails. We tailor versions for different platforms and lengths. We pay close attention to retention curves and where people drop off, and we refine future scripts based on what we learn.

The result: explainer videos that feel native to social media, that audiences want to share, and that help institutions communicate complex ideas with clarity and real cultural reach. your brand
